Known as a passionate pioneer in the coaching industry, Darst is playful and inspiring, working with all kinds of people to move them past limitations and into action & fulfillment.

Darst became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach in 1995, and was one of the first to receive the designation of Master Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation. In 1997 she was named "One of the Top Ten Most Influential Coaches in the U.S."

A favorite in the coaching world, Darst delivered "Celebration, Metaphor and Magic" to a standing room only crowd at the 2005 San Jose ICF conference, delighted her coaching colleagues in 2006 at the St. Louis ICF conference with her demonstration of MCC level coaching and again in Fort Worth in 2010, where she presented "The Magic of Metaphor." Her television appearances include being the Life Coach on Discovery Health's "Star for a Day," and the pilot of "Life's Too Short" on the Discovery Channel.

Based in Los Angeles, Darst maintains a full roster of private clients including corporate execs, entrepreneurs, creative types (actors, writers, and entertainment industry), people in transition, as well as other coaches. She and her husband, David Darst, CPCC, ORSCC, PCC, also a coach, are partners in their company, The Inspiration Point (www.theinspirationpoint.com). They do work with individuals as well as teams, couples, partnerships and organizational systems.

As a Senior Course Leader for both The Coaches Training Institute and CRRGlobal, she delights in traveling the world, training others in the skills of Co-Active Coaching for individuals, partnerships, and organizational systems. She was instrumental in the selection, training and development of leaders at CTI for many years, and now works with Leader Development for CRRGlobal.

She was a founding member of the ICF / Professional & Personal Coaches Association and served on the Board of Directors as: Ethics & Standards Chair '95-'96, Member-at-Large '96, and '97 PPCA Conference Program Chair. As the 1998 International Coach Federation Conference Chair, she was a key player in bringing the ICF and PPCA together. Darst has also served on the Board of Directors of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, and is delighted to be the President-Elect for the Assoc. of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO).
