FINDING THE RIGHT COACH
People often ask us what to look for in a coach and how to find a coach that is really right for them. Here are some tips:

Key points to check when hiring a coach:

•		What kind of coaching training does this person have?
•		Are they certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF), or by an ICF Accredited training program?
•		If not yet certified, are they at least in a certification program? Check accredited training programs at coachfederation.org.
•		Are they a member of the ICF or the PCMA (Professional Coaches and Mentors Assoc.)?
•		Do they adhere to the Ethical Guidelines of the ICF?
•		Will they have a conversation with you about your needs and offer you a "sample" of coaching?
